Making rice pudding

  1. Weigh the rice.

  1. Add 4 times the amount of milk.

  1. Pour the rice and milk into a deep, microwave-safe receptacle.

  1. Use the recommended settings when configuring the appliance settings.

  1. As soon as the milk starts to rise, stir thoroughly.

  1. Reduce the microwave power as indicated in the recommended settings tables.

  1. Stir several times during the remaining cooking time.
