Tips for cooking poultry
Please take note of the following information if you are cooking poultry.
- The values in the recommended settings tables are for unstuffed, oven-ready, fridge-temperature poultry.
- Place the poultry onto the cookware breast-side or skin-side down.
- Turn the poultry after approx. ½ to ⅔ of the specified time.
- Poultry is particularly well suited to quick cooking using the microwave mode.
- You can roast large poultry or multiple individual pieces at the same time on the wire rack.
- If you cook food in cookware, you can remove it from the cooking compartment more easily and serve it directly in the cookware. If you cover the cookware when you cook your food, this will keep the cooking compartment clean.
- Grill pieces of poultry if you want them to be crispy.
- The meat probe allows you to cook with absolute precision. Please take note of the important information on using it correctly.
